    .About the Program:

    Join fellow CV SHRM member, Jeannette Fitzwater, as she highlights how First United Bank & Trust has built a successful leadership development program. After realizing that at least half of its current leaders were eligible for retirement, this local bank began to make growing leadership a strategic priority! Through a panel discussion you’ll learn what worked well, what they would change and how they continue to keep it alive and growing. Come prepared to be interactive and to walk out excited about the leadership opportunities within your own team!

                    Together they bring over 50 years of community banking expertise, with most of it being in leading/directing Human Resources activities, most especially in the area of learning and development.

     About the Speaker:

    Jeannette Rudy Fitzwater brings 30 years of varied executive and management experience in Human Resources, Training, Strategic Planning, Marketing and Sales. Much of this experience comes through serving as an executive officer for First United Bank & Trust! At year-end 2015, she officially retired and is currently focusing on building out her consulting career.

    She has a proven track record of maximizing both individual and organizational performance. Noting her passion for training and business coaching, she is often told that her enthusiasm is infectious!

    Through her consulting practice, Jeannette provides executive and management consulting, customized developmental training and practical, effective individualized business coaching for organizations and their key executives, leaders and managers. Most recently she has been credited with initiating an interactive and practical three tier leadership development program which is gaining the attention of both the for-profit and non-profit arena.

    Jeannette holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, has graduated from several professional banking schools, and has earned the unique designation of Registered Corporate Coach (RCC.)  In addition, she is an alumna of and currently serves as a Board Member for Leadership Maryland.

    In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering and taking leadership roles in community activities, keeping track of her “empty nested” children and avidly traveling with her husband.
